Flight began life as a musical question and answer game between friends, and the end result is a stark, binary world of oppressive alternate-tuning drones plus field recordings on one hand, and hushed synthesizer micro-variations on the other.  While these sounds shadow each other in simple blocks, the album in its entirety conjures up the feeling of sitting through a long airplane flight: inert blocks of time seem to linger in perpetuity before suddenly vanishing into a weightless ether.
